10 Little girls to be exact. They have the softest feathers and the cutest little round bodies. They can run at break neck speeds and change directions on a dime.
My cousin Emily has had chickens for several years and convinced us to give it a try. Ter was very resistant at the beginning. He kept saying that he would end up taking care of them. Of course I kept saying, no you won't. We'll see who's right.
Matt and Emily ordered day old chicks then took care of them for the first 4 weeks because we don't have the heat lamp.
So this little clip is the day we got them.
