So here is what mom came up with. We simply cut across the top of the straps, sewed the cut ends to create a casing then threaded in a new strap. Megan says it feels much better.

O.K. so that is DANG cute!! Love it and we may have to do that on purpose on one of our suits.
M. actually wants braided straps somehow. So I am looking into that one.
