This year we headed up north for the Easter weekend. It happened to be the week after they opened the new City Creek Center in downtown SLC. We met up with Sarah's family as well as mom and dad and walked around all the shops. Talk about beautiful! There were water features everywhere. I wish I had taken a picture of the HUGE fireplace. The base had to be 12' and you could sit on all four sides of the fireplace. It was so pretty!
There were covered walkways, so in the winter months you could stay completely dry. We saw a couple having their engagement photos taken by this waterfall, so the kids decided to try it out as well.
On Sunday the kids did a scavenger hunt for their Easter treats. This was instead of a hunt and they had a blast. Ter and Spencer came up with all the clues. They used biblical clues that tied in with things in my moms yard and garden.
So this one had to do with water in the well.
Their treats were hidden under the "Tree of Life."
Next year we'll twice as many clues. The kids were a lot quicker than we thought they'd be.
