Canning Potatoes

Ter and Spence were totally awesome to cut up all the potatoes, but they would not let me get a decent picture. Big goof balls!

They cut up 50 lbs which yields 21 quarts and 16 pints. Our favorite use is hash browns and Potatoe Wild Rice Soup. Mmmmm good!

While Spencer and Ter were playing the Wii-
Megan: "Dad you already got Killed?"
Dad: "Ya!"
Megan: "Well, let's try to improve ourselves!"

After Megan and Ter cleaned out the cookie dough bowl I took and look at the bowl and noticed how clean they got it just using spoons. I said, "good grief you two why don't you just stick your face in and lick it clean." Megan replied, "If I didn't have a nose, I would!"

A conversation I overheard with Spencer and Brevin.
Spencer: "Someone needs to take the trash out!"
Brevin: "Why don't you be a man and take it out?"

After dinner, Ter was cleaning up and noticed it looked like a war zone around Brevin's spot at the table. Ter, rather disgustedly said, "Brevin!" to which Brevin replied, "It wasn't me ask the knife!"

While trying to clean up Brevin's face, I licked my fingers a couple times to assist in the efforts, Brevin then said to me "Mom I don't want to be the spit guy!"
