Brevin & Flag Football

Brevin reminds me a little of my sister Sarah. When she was young, she would sign up for any sporting event that offered a free t-shirt, ribbon, or trophy. This is exactly how Brevin is. For him it's all about the trophy and the treat. For Sarah it was all about the trophy, but also about winning. Brevin isn't so much concerned with the win. As a matter of fact, he is quite reserved when it comes to sports. He's not really willing to get in there and be aggressive. Maybe it's because he's getting familiar with the game and rules, but some of these kids look like they've played the sport for years.

This past year he played flag football, soccer, baseball and basketball. I think basketball is one of our families lesser sports. Spencer didn't enjoy playing it and Brev said he didn't want to do it again. We're okay to watch it, just don't ask us to make a shot or run our guts out. Could be our height has something to do with it. We aren't that tall in comparison to some of these kids.
I went in to Brev's room one night and found all his trophies in bed with him. What a funny kid!
